Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need my own harp?
Yes, you will need access to a harp. We generally recommend starting with a 34-string lever harp (as that saves the need for an upgrade later on), but smaller lap harps (26+ strings) work too. Pedal harps are also welcome!
What technology do I need for online lessons?
A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone.
How big is the group size?
On average 3-4 students per class, with a maximum of 5 to keep the group size cozy.
What if I miss a class?
Lesson slots are reserved for each individual in their specified group class. Should you miss a class, you're welcome to join another group's session where there is an available slot as a makeup option.
Are materials provided?
Some digital materials are provided. We'll also recommend books based on your interests.
Are the classes suitable for complete beginners?
Absolutely! We have plenty of experience in guiding adult students with no prior musical or harp experience.
